Front Entry flower bed clean up rescheduled to July 1st
We are now ready to complete the work in our front entry flower beds! Thanks for your patience as this work was delayed due to weather, smoke and scheduling conflicts.
Our front entry signs have been re-sealed and painted with thanks to our board member Brad! Many community members contributed to moving the rocks, weed barrier and existing weeds and quack grass.
We are now ready to add the mulch that will help to keep the weeds down and will also provide support moisture retention as our summers seem to be warmer and drier than in the past.
We need your help! We are looking for volunteers to bring their shovels, work gloves, whellbarrows and sense of community to help us!
In addition, any community members who would be interested in collecting some rock mulch to use in their own yards are welcome to do so! All of the rocks behind each of the front entry signs is free for taking.
- When: Tuesday, July 1st at 9:30 am – we will be placing the wood mulch. With many hands we hope this can be done quickly so we can spend the rest of the day celebrating our great Nation!
- What to bring: shovels, work gloves, buckets for rock you’d like to take home, wheel barrow
This work has been generously sponsored by Companion Veterinary Clinic!! Many Thanks to our sponsors!!
